Inspired by John Hughes
Olivia, a middle-class girl with bipolar disorder at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio abandons her arrogant rich boyfriend Larry for a more sympathetic young man named Mike who plays guitar. This move causes a love triangle throughout the story until Olivia eventually goes out with Mike to a dance on Friday in the end.
