Frank Law is a washed-out coach who trades the last shreds of his identity for a fantasy-football dream that quickly becomes a slow-motion heist of his life: Harold coaxes him into a company and then quietly rigs it to harvest Frank’s goodwill and ruin his career while Frank drowns in boardrooms and half-remembered family dinners; Margaret watches their marriage die as Frank chases validation, Joan becomes the soft, dangerous confidante who fills the void he refuses to face, and only Ray — the one who still loves the game for itself — hauls him back from a suicide that would’ve been the easiest exit, leaving Frank alive but exposed, fired and hollowed, stumbling into a small, bitter redemption teaching kids fundamentals in an empty gym — not saved, just painfully accountable.
