Newly arrived from Chicago, Ren McCormak is frustrated when he discovers that the small town prohibits rock music and dancing. As he struggles to adjust, Ren faces an uphill battle to change the situation. With the help of a friend, Willard Hewitt, and rebellious teenager Ariel Moore, he may be able to free this conservative city. But Ariel's influential father, Reverend Shaw Moore, becomes an obstacle.
