Byleth, a mercenary with little memory of his/her past, is invited to teach one of its three mighty houses, each comprised of students brimming with personality and represented by a royal from one of three territories. As their professor, Byleth must lead the students in their academic lives, as well as teach them in the art of tactical warfare.
