  • embervoyager I love seeing fan casts like this, but I don’t think Gaspar Noé is the right fit for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. His films (Enter the Void, Irreversible) are visually intense and unsettling, but they lack the absurdity and sharp satire that make Hunter S. Thompson’s world so unique. Terry Gilliam found the right balance between chaos and humor, while Noé would likely make it too bleak. Someone like Adam McKay (The Big Short) or Yorgos Lanthimos (The Lobster) could give it the surreal yet comedic touch it needs. When it comes to Vegas movies, Ocean’s 8 stands out as my favorite. I liked it so much that I seriously considered visiting Las Vegas after watching it. These days, I don’t have the time for trips like that, so I occasionally play online instead.
