Synopsis

Synopsis: The Marvel-1 rocket is launched into space after several years of work by lifelong friends Reed Richards and Ben Grimm. Together with Reed's wife Sue Storm and her little brother Johnny, they will go into space to explore unknown planets. The journey goes well at first but suddenly the ship begins to shake and the passengers fall over. A frustrated Reed begins to ponder how this could happen, and what actually IS happening. The ship is sucked into a purple-shining hole, and it does not take long before they can witness planets mankind has never seen. Reed's thoughts are interrupted by the rocket landing on a deserted planet. The team discovers that their food will not last, and tries to repair the ship. It takes longer than expected, but the team manages to return to Earth after two months. The team eventually notices that their journey into space has had side effects, more powerful than they could ever expect. Nowadays, the four fight crime with the help of forces they received during the journey. Reed has the ability to have stretchy arms, Sue has the power to become invisible and she can do force fields, Johnny has the power to cover his body in fire, absorb and control fire, and finally Ben has turned into a strong rock monster, or that's what Johnny calls him these days.

  • biggord When Ben starts dating a girl named Alicia Masters, their worst threat yet is raised, although they do not yet know this. This man is Phillip Masters, Alicia Masters adoptive father. He sees Ben Grimm as a freak, and will do everything in his power to eliminate him and the rest of the Fantastic Four. After a long quarrel regarding Johnny's bad behavior, Ben goes to visit Alicia who has invited her father to meet Ben. They have dinner together, and Phillip succeeds well in hiding his hatred of Ben. Phillip wants to talk to Ben without Alicia hearing, and as soon as she leaves the room, Phillip starts to implement his plan. He starts manipulating Ben to do as he says, and even though Ben is strong, he falls for Phillip’s tricks. Under Phillip's control, Ben storms out of Alicia's house. He puts innocent people in danger and destroys buildings to get Reed, Sue and Johnny's attention. When the three are finally in place, Ben rushes against Johnny who gets a real slap in the face. A big fight is triggered between the trio and Ben Grimm, but finally Ben manages to gain control of his consciousness and he falls to the ground with tears in his eyes and asks for forgiveness. Ben explains what happened, and the others forgive him. Reed helps Ben to get back on his feet and the team of four heads to Alicia's house. The team storms into the house to witness Phillip with a knife around Alicia's neck. He threatens to kill Alicia if Ben does not disappear from the city. Ben looks at the terrified Alicia who is stuck in her adoptive father's hard grip. Suddenly Johnny recklessly throws a fireball at Phillip. Phillip kills Alicia before he is hit by the fireball. Ben roars and charges against Phillip. He beats Phillip violently repeatedly while tears run down his rocky cheeks. Reed runs to stop Ben from killing Phillip, but he gets knocked out. Ben breathes deeply, ready to destroy Phillip once and for all. After a long period of deliberation, Ben lowers his fist and lets Phillip live. Ben rushes towards the lifeless Alicia, he sheds a few tears before Reed, Sue and Johnny come up to him and hugs him. Mid credit scene: Reed goes to meet an old friend from college. He is waiting at a bar when a man with big scars on his face walks in. He sits down at the same table as Reed, and Reed says "Long time no see, how are you these days, Victor''. Post credit scene: Tony Stark is working on new and improved suits, suits that will be able to top all rival companies that have made copies of his suits.

    • castingsinmyblood   @biggord The only thing I didn't like was how you killed Alicia. The scene between Reed & Victor was cool though. I really like that

    • castingsinmyblood   @biggord my own take on the Puppet Master is based off of the version from Marvel Knights 4. While he deeply loves his daughter, he is also possessive and invasive, trying to "cure" her blindness without taking her permission or life into account. In fact, he may just be trying to do so out of attrition rather than true remorse. You can love someone without being emotionally equipped to handle their wellbeing.

    • biggord   @castingsinmyblood That's totally fair! I know that wasn't the best way to kill of Alicia, but I wanted to display that Phillip was crazy and would do anything to kill Ben. Glad you liked the scene between Reed and Victor.
