The Fantastic Four have been rattled by the constant expansion of their world, looking out into the ocean and into space and seeing world-changing things around every corner. Looking so far ahead, they're entirely caught off-guard when the new threat to the safety of the public comes from beneath their own feet, deep into the center of the earth.
