In the 1960’s, at the height of the Cold War, a brilliant yet diminished scientist named REED RICHARDS enlists the help of SUSAN STORM, JOHNNY STORM, and BEN GRIMM as they embark to space for a scientific breakthrough; only to find themselves in the NEGATIVE ZONE, a derelict planet turning into a barren intergalactic hellscape. After meeting a disastrous turmoil, the team acquires superhuman powers as they retreat back to Earth.
