Marcus is Erica's high school boyfriend. They stayed together for a couple years after graduation but they slowly drifted apart. He still lives outside of the city, close to where they grew up. Prior to her move he revealed that he still loved her. Avoiding her own feelings she threw herself into acting, trying to keep him off her mind.
