It's a little mix of movie and comics. Many years ago Celestials created Eternals and Deviants between war was started, when it ended, the surviving Deviants under Kro's leadership hid from the Eternals which most of them left earth to follow Celestials. After centuries the Deviants return and a group of Eternals must stop them to save the world and protect their loved ones.
