Grand Theft Auto, Fallout and Assassin's Creed were studied to develop complex controls, played from a third-person view. The player controls both male and female protagonists which revolves around combat, stealth, shooting, exploration, including the use of parkour to navigate the post-apocalyptic environment and on foot or by vehicle during the alternate real-world historical events and historical figures. The other references to movies such as 28 Days Later and The Purge series. To defend against hostile gangsters and private militias by various mega-corporations after the global crisis began in late 2002 and into early 2003 during the War on Terror while the US-led NATO are in Iraq and Afghanistan.
