2013/Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse Style
11 years ago this month, an underrated game of epic proportions was released unto the world, courtesy of Warren Spector's Junction Point Studios. That game was Disney's Epic Mickey. An amazing adventure showcasing Mickey Mouse's journey through a world known as The Wasteland. A world where forgotten cartoon characters could once live in peace, but all that changed when the Fire Nation attacked-- er, I mean, when the dreaded Thinner Disaster, an event unknowingly caused by Mickey, himself, brought about a sinister being known simply as The Blot, whose terrifying power ravaged the once peaceful world, turning it into a twisted shell of its former self. After being dragged into the Wasteland by the Blot, Mickey had to set right the disaster he had caused, free the Wasteland from its horrid fate, and become the brother to Oswald he was always meant to be. This game did something was many thought impossible, and that was bringing Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney's first cartoon mega star, back home to Disney, after being taken away from him by Universal, who had held onto the rights to the character for roughly 80+ years. To commemorate this anniversary picture, I've replicated the 2 main characters of the Epic Mickey franchise, Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, in the 2013/Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse art style, complete with Yen Sid's magic brush and Oswald's remote from the Epic Mickey 2.
