The plot takes place in the Celestian Belt, a vast cosmic realm governed by two opposing kingdoms: the Solaris Empire, bathed in eternal daylight, and the Umbra Dominion, shrouded in eternal night. For centuries, the two realms coexisted in harmony, but an ancient betrayal fractured their alliance, plunging them into endless war. Solara (Dua Lipa), a 25-year-old scavenger and outcast, has spent her life surviving on the fractured outer edges of the belt. Born during a rare solar eclipse, she possesses a mysterious power that allows her to manipulate both light and shadow—an ability feared by both kingdoms. When a dying oracle reveals that Solara is the only one who can restore balance to the realms, she is reluctantly thrust into the center of a cosmic conflict. Joined by a snarky rogue from Solaris, a brooding warrior from Umbra, and her mischievous starry-eyed sidekick, Solara embarks on a dangerous journey to uncover the truth about her heritage, unite the warring factions, and stop an ancient force that threatens to consume both realms.
