Tamara, having been suddenly dumped right before Christmas, decides to drown her sorrows in a local bar. Hours before Christmas strikes Tamara finds herself joined by disgraced sports star Jack, cynical mall Santa Derek, undying optimist Gloria, tech investor Trevor, widow Lillian, and neurotic security guard Roger. As the group bonds and shares stories an unexpected blackout occurs, followed by a dead body outside. As a mysterious strain causes those outside to be consumed with rage an unlikely band of strangers must work together to fight for survival and to make it to Christmas as a vicious horde demands blood.
