Rock Light, also known as DL-001 is an assistance robot for his creator, Dr. Light, alongside his younger sister, Roll, DL-002, and Light's partner and friend, Dr. Wily(who is definitely NOT a twist villain.) One day, many of Light's other robots are hacked, and the one behind this calls himself Break Man. Left with no other option, Rock volunteers to be turned into a battle robot and fight them himself. Dr. Light upgrades his son into a new hero; Mega Man.
