The Coming of Chaos
The true nature of the new threat is revealed: Chaos, a primal entity older than the gods, has come to unmake all of creation. In response, a new, terrifying breed of fire-and-lava dragons descends upon Krynn, destroying everything in their path. The gods of good, evil, and neutrality are forced into a desperate, losing alliance against an enemy that consumes magic and defies their power. This is an apocalyptic disaster epic. The continent of Ansalon is sundered by war and geological upheaval. Heroes of the old and new generation are forced to fight side-by-side in a hopeless war. Icons fall, the Knights of Takhisis and the Knights of Solamnia must unite, and the world itself begins to die, leading to a final, desperate gambit to stop the end of everything.
