The Reunion
Five years after they parted ways, a group of estranged friends gathers for a promised reunion, but the world has grown darker. The old gods are gone, replaced by false prophets and oppressive military rule. The reunion is strained, haunted by past failures and unresolved tensions, particularly between the weary half-elf Tanis, the frail mage Raistlin, and his warrior twin, Caramon. Their reunion is cut short when they are forced to protect two tribal wanderers carrying a staff of pure blue crystal, a relic of the forgotten true gods. Now fugitives, the Companions are hunted by the draconian legions of the Dragon Highlord Verminaard and must journey into the ruins of an ancient city to uncover the truth, a discovery that will ignite a war and make them the reluctant sparks of a new hope.
