Jake Reid, an easygoing small-town private investigator, lives a quiet life solving petty crimes. But his world is turned upside down when he sees his own face on the news as "internationally wanted art thief and criminal mastermind" Leo Vega who just stole a priceless artifact from a high-security museum in Paris. Desperate to clear his name, Jake decides to track down Leo himself and stop him. But when he catches up to Leo, they both realize they're in over their heads: a powerful criminal syndicate is after them, and so is a relentless Interpol agent, Claire DuPont, who doesn’t care which twin she has to take down as long as justice is served. With enemies on all sides, the unlikely pair begrudgingly team up. Their mission: break into the syndicate’s secure vault to retrieve evidence to prove Jake’s innocence, which also holds the only way Leo can avoid the gang’s wrath.
