DC Cinematic Universe (DC's Netflix television series/The Outsiders Saga)
The first season sees surgeon-by-day Pieter Cross use his heightened vision and senses from being blinded by a drug to fight crime at night on the streets of New York City's Midtown East neighborhood as Doctor Mid-Nite while uncovering a conspiracy of the criminal underworld being led by Bruno Mannheim. In the second season, Cross continues to balance life as a surgeon and Doctor Mid-Nite, while crossing paths with Adrian Chase/Vigilante, a vigilante with far deadlier methods, as well as the return of an ex-girlfriend—Jade Nguyen/Cheshire. In the third season, after Mannheim is released from prison, Cross, who has been missing for months following the events of The Outsiders, reemerges as a broken man and must decide between hiding from the world as a criminal surgeon, or embracing his life as a hero vigilante.
