She is the princess of Heart who was appointed the Guardian of the Dragon Gem by her father, Chief Benja. When the Gem is broken, a plague known as the Druun is unleashed upon the world, turning much of humanity into stone—including Benja. To save her father, Raya seeks out the legendary water dragon, Sisu, to recover the shattered Gem pieces and use its power to restore humankind. Raya is an 18-year-old Southeast Asian girl of average height of 5'8, with a slender, slightly muscular build, tan skin, snub nose, long black hair, brownish-pink lips and dark brown eyes.
