A young woman who had her law degree paid for by the Claire brothers, and now acts as the Union lawyer. The very fact she has a law degree at all is something that is guarded from outsiders, and so she spends much of her time disguised as a gardener. Elizabeth is not impartial in her occupation, and clearly has passion for defending the Union’s ideals and keeping the Union members out of trouble. Her intelligence is matched by her zeal, even against the most formidable of opponents.
