Traumatized from watching his parents gunned down in front of him, Bruce Wayne swore to ensure that no one else in Gotham would go through what he did. Using his family's fortune to this end, he traveled the world to learn the skills he'd use for his crusade as the Batman. One night, Batman comes upon an unusual crime, even for Gotham City, involving strange criminals working with his enemies. Eventually meeting with someone who was supposed to be fictional, the cyborg police officer known as RoboCop, Batman forms an alliance with him and two other people: Spider-Man and Birdy Cephon.
