Tanjiro Kamado finds his family slain with only one survivor. The survivor is his little sister Nezuko but someone turned her into a demon and must have a bamboo muzzle on her face to stop her from turning other people into demons even though she is different than the others. He is trained by Sakonji Urokodaki a former member of the Demon Slayer Corps. With his help, Tanjiro becomes a Demon Slayer and is accompanied by Nezuko, the scared but can be brave - Zenitsu Agatsuma, and the mysterious Inosuke Hashibira.
