Synopsis

Deadpool finds himself outside of his home universe and encounters Monica Rambeau who is also stranded in this alternate universe after she sealing an interdimensional rift. He encounters a mysterious foe intent on targeting Wade, known only as Madcap. As Madcap proves himself a match to Deadpool, Wade sees only one option to outdo his new nemesis, assemble an uncanny team of Avengers. Monica and Wade investigate the forces that led them here and pursue a way back to their native universe's.

Description of Madcap (Wade Wilson Variant):

This universe's Wade Wilson never began mercenary work and never met Vanessa, instead he became a family man. His religious family was on their way to a church event when their bus is involved in an accident with a truck transporting experimental chemical agents. Wade was the sole survivor, due to the chemical exposure and trauma awakening his dormant mutant gene, but his mind was shattered. Amidst the tragedy he connected with Death (Rio Vidal). Seeking Deaths embrace and finding no meaning within his reality he embraces the persona of Madcap, with all the potential of Deadpool he proves to be the ultimate match for the out of place Wade.
