Deadpool finds himself outside of his home universe and encounters Monica Rambeau who is also stranded in this alternate universe after she sealing an interdimensional rift. He encounters a mysterious foe intent on targeting Wade, known only as Madcap. As Madcap proves himself a match to Deadpool, Wade sees only one option to outdo his new nemesis, assemble an uncanny team of Avengers.
