When the dead leave the cemetery, who can stop them ?
Christopher Cooper, the former Sheriff of the small coastal town of "Hope City", returns home for a well-deserved vacation. However, once on the scene, accompanied by a hitchhiker whom he picked up on the way, the Vietnam veteran will realize that the thick and sinister mist is not the only thing that has invaded the city. The dead have woken up and, in the company of the few survivors of the city, they will have to fight for their survival... or end up on the menu !
