Phil owns the local bar, near the coast and boatyard. He’s an amiable but gruff man. We briefly see his death when Dobbs plays one of his videotapes in his collection to Dan, showing all his ‘creations’ through the ages, before and after death. Through this, we know Phil was a traveling business man who was beaten by an unseen local with a crowbar when he had car trouble outside of the hotel. Aged 40-60
