Story Plot

The film recounts Batman's early years as a crime-fighter as well as exploring the life of Gotham police lieutenant James Gordon and their recently formed alliance against Gotham's criminal underworld. Gordon witnesses his fellow officers' cruel methods in assaulting criminals for fun. Gordon tries to focus on purging corruption from the Gotham City Police Department, but his corrupt superior, Commissioner Gillian Loeb, personally threatens Gordon's pregnant wife.

    @pumpkinchowcorg I originally cast him as Flass but changed it to Bullock since we kinda already saw the Gordon/Flass dynamic from Year One in Batman Begins. In Affleck's Year One, Bullock would be conflicted about whether to help Gordon fight the department's corruption or leave him to the wolves. But in the end, Bullock would do the right thing while retaining his moral greyness.
