Before being revealed by Spider-Boy and fired, Eddie Brock was a double agent for the Agenda Corporation, working as a lab technician at Project Cadmus to gather and sell their secrets. He wanted to steal genetic samples from the Cadmus labs for the Agenda Corporation in revenge, but Spider-Boy stopped him. Eddie came into contact with and bonded with an alien symbiote that Cadmus used to create Bizarnage during their battle. He became the deadly Venom Stinger after swallowing the alien ooze. Venom Stinger wants to bring Spider-Boy's world to an end because of their common hatred of each other, together with Cadmus.
