S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent David Walker was fused with the sentient software program (the Annihilator) inside a recovered Kryptonian rocket in an effort to create a fresh, more powerful Super-Soldier. David was given Super-Soldier-like abilities by the alien programming, in addition to the ability to build a solar energy shield. The U.S.Annihilator is now a deadly "hero," driven by a desire to destroy anything he regards as a threat.
