There, Hyena became the love of Dr. Harleen Wayword, a physician from Ravencroft Asylum. She was forced into an acid vat as retribution for helping him in escaping. Her life was rescued by Spiral, a cyborg version of her future self. Using magic, nanotech, and bionic implants, Spiral transformed Harleen into a six-armed copy of herself. Harleen was horrified by the transformation and used her new powers to kill Spiral. Harleen, a fusion of Spiral and Harley Quinn, changed her name to Spiral Harley before she turned into a fully chaotic being. She thought the best way to keep expressing her strange, horrific love for Hyena was to keep trying to destroy both his body and mind.
