Jesse Musashi was unaware that her uncle Johnny was actually the former superhero Johnny Quicksilver. She chose to recreate the experimental suit of armor for herself after discovering that her uncle had created it to increase his powers as he aged. The armor initially did not work for her. But when she recited the equation 3x2(9YZ)4A she had discovered in Johnny's journal, alien energy flooded the suit's circuitry. Jesse began to use the armor to become a superhero, going by the name Jesse Turbo.
