A former government lone agent who had gone rogue (although it may have merely been a cover for a secret operation) and used her specialized training and skills as an agent for hire was known as The Huntress, a fusion of Huntress and Ms. Marvel (Carol Denvers). Huntress' crossbow was made for her by Hawkeye (Clint Archer) for the Judgment League Avengers, who for some reason thought Carol wanted more than just archery instruction. Hawkeye was wrong since Huntress knew how to get his finest work and wanted it.
