In order to exact revenge on the Nazis for the demise of her family, Helena Norris, the hybrid of Valkyrie and Fury, was imprisoned in a shady netherworld by a dark occultist who worked for them. In the shadowy realm, she was possessed by Tisiphone, the goddess of anger. Helena used her powers to travel back to Earth and take on the heroic persona of Erinys.
