Princess Dormera, a hybrid of Dorma and Mera, originated in the strange underwater realm known as Dimension Aqua. She was practicing her power to construct whirlpool portals when she unintentionally entered another dimension. There, she met the Aqua Mariner. Dormera became the ruler of the underwater city of Atlantis after they wed and fell in love. Aqua Mariner believed his wife and all of his fellow Atlanteans were dead in their new reality, but Dormera's power to teleport them to her home dimension kept them all alive when the city suffered a great tragedy. Dormera now leads her kingdom while looking for a way to return to her husband.
