Canary, a hybrid of Mockingbird and Black Canary II and the daughter of the superhero Nightingale, was one of the original members of the Judgement League Avengers, along with Doctor Strangefate, Angelhawk, Iron Lantern, and the Aqua Mariner. Canary was present when the JLA discovered Super-Soldier's frozen body, stuck in suspended animation, in the Northern Atlantic Ocean. The surprised heroes carefully defrosted his body, thrilled to see that he was still alive after all these years. Finally making a comeback, Super Soldier joined the JLA. While falling in love with Hawkeye, her colleague, Canary battled to pick between Goliath and the emerald bowman.
