After moving to the big city to pursue his dream of becoming a journalist, Clark Kent gets a call that forces him to put his new life on hold to head back to his hometown of Smallville. Deciding to support him, his friends Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and Ron Troupe, tag along. While there, Clark uncovers a sinister plot involving an old friend and a powerful mastermind.
