The Earth is in a funny place, Superman is semi-retired as he mainly focused on his human life with his wife and now 12 year old Jon Kent. At the same time, Superman's entire history and rise as a symbol had inspired many of the new metahumans to do the same. However, the New Gods Forager and Lightray have come to Earth to warn about the impending subjugation of Earth by the planet of Apokolips...
