2 years after humanity fell to a virus that makes people turn into ravenous monsters called Freakers, Bikers turned Bounty hunters Deacon St. John and his best friend, Boozer ride on what they call the Broken Road, scouring the Oregon wilderness for Freaker bounties as well as human bounties. Deacon is haunted by the loss of his wife, Sarah, whom he believes might still be alive. Deacon enlists the help of NERO scientist, O'Brien, to track down what happened to Sarah. Despite Boozer's protests, Deacon sets out to find her. Going toe-to-toe with Freakers, Rippers and Marauders, Deacon will find out what happened to Sarah, because to Deacon, Sarah is the most valuable bounty he's ever went after.
