Daisy-Head Mayzie (also known as Dr. Seuss' Daisy-Head Mayzie) is an American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy comedy film produced by Illumination, distributed by Universal Studios and based on Dr. Seuss's children's book of the same name and the 1995 TV short. The story centers on a young student named Mayzie who experiences bullying from her peers after a magically appearing bright white sentient daisy blooms on her head. Until an agent turns her into a star, it causes worry in her class, family, and community. Mayzie accepts the offer, and soon learns the hard way that fame and money may bring unhappiness before being persuaded to do the right thing by the Cat in the Hat.
