Widower Charlie Silverstone is always working, and is far too strict with his kids when he is around. When Charlie suffers a head injury in an accident, he loses 8 years of his memory and can't figure out why his kids are so off with him. His three children question whether they even want him to remember again, after spending time with their "younger", carefree dad.
