Let's make this cast as queer as possible! <br><br> Plaid-skirted schoolgirls are groomed by a secret government agency to become the newest members of the elite national-defense group, D.E.B.S. <br><br> 20 years after the original came out, a reboot must be in homage, a love letter to the New Queer Cinema and queer-coded films that came out following the rise of anti-queer propaganda by far-right religious groups like The Moral Majority, the AIDS crisis taking so many of us, and the Defense of Marriage Act destroying the rights of same-gender couples. It will honor queer history and highlight how far we've come (and how far we have to go).
