The show will display Victor going through grief at the loss of Barry whom he was best friends with. But an old foe from his past named Gizmo shows up and creates havoc. So Victor fights Gizmo throughout the show, but eventually he sacrifices himself to stop one of Gizmo's bombs. We see Hal Jordan show up, he begins to breakdown before finding a chip. He then realizes what to do with it. He runs to the Watchtower and plugs the chip in. The chip then downloaded Cyborg's brain into the Watchtower.
