Maybe the end or start of the earth. the Anti-Monitor, a cosmic being from the antimatter universe who begins to systematically destroy the various positive-matter Earths with a wave of antimatter. His benevolent counterpart, the Monitor, recruits heroes and villains from across the multiverse to fight back and set up "quantum towers" to merge the remaining realities.
