William, (Oscar Isaac) A Janitor and Barman who is a former convicted felon who was released after spending two months in prison for a robbery attempt and works under his uncle, Bob (Ray Liotta), for a crime syndicate. He meets and falls for Claire (Zazie Beetz), a woman who becomes a glimmer of hope in his tumultuous life. Even though Will doesn't know it, Bob was a violent and dangerous man who punished someone who never apologized to him and tried to attack him.
