X, better known as Sonic.exe (sometimes stylized as Sonic.EXE), is the titular main antagonist of the infamous creepypasta series of the same name created by Jack Cranely (also known online as Sir JC-the-Hyena). He is an anomalous, extra-dimensional entity driven by an instinctive lust for destruction and pain. Born out of pure dark matter, X only began to acquire a physical form after learning about the world and the human race. He chose the appearance of Sonic the Hedgehog, being a major fan of the series and especially the titular character.
