Live Action Remake
When 11-year-old Coraline (Mckenna Grace) moves into her new house, she feels bored and neglected by her parents Mel Jones (Vera Farmiga) and Charlie Jones (Patrick Wilson), later she finds a hidden door in the wall where she finds a secret passageway, she crosses the passage and finds a parallel world where everybody has buttons instead of eyes, with caring parents and all her dreams coming true. When the Other Mother (Olivia Wilde) invites Coraline to stay in her world, but the girl refuses and finds that the alternate reality where she is trying to keep her in then turns the Other Mother's creation from a world of fantasy to a house or horrors, Coraline then must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home - before she's trapped in the Other World forever.
