Jack Deebs is a prisoner who, wanting to escape from the reality around him, creates his own "Cool World" and encloses it in the pages of a comic book. He does not even expect that this creation really exists, moreover, the cartoonist becomes a prisoner of his own vision, and on top of that he falls victim to the intrigue planned by the seductive Holli Would , who at all costs wants to become a real woman thus breaking the law in force. The will of the main character is not exceptionally strong, but the guardian of order in the Wonderful World is Frank Harris, the only real character living in the comic besides Jack.
