After ending Khalar Zym's tyrannical rule, Conan goes to the Kingdom of Turan alongside his allies to help King Yildiz in his war on the puppet kingdom of Makkalet, which is controlled by the black wizard Karam-Akkad, who is one of the disciples of Thoth-Amon.
