Cher's english teacher. She is selfless and involved in several important causes. She and Mr. Hall end up together after Cher and Dionne fix them up. Overall a kind hearted and dedicated educator and human being. Awkward at times but very intelligent the make over scene works differently now than it does in the original this time focuses less on looks and more on who Gies is as a person so no remove the glasses scene.
